We are participating the Antwerp Race (www.antwerprace.be) which is an annual sailing race welcoming cruising yachts too. The race will start in Terneuzen, follow Western Scheldt and finally finish in the Antwerp historical city center.
Our aim is not to come first (yet) but rather building a general experience and live the race atmosphere which is quiet fun and colorful. Dates are October 12-14. We will have a professional racing skipper with us.
Here is the program :
Oct 12 : Exercise day. Meet in the boat in Zeebrugge marina, sail to Terneuzen marina, exercise on the way
Oct 13 : The race day. Terneuzen to Anwerp. Go and get the cup 
Oct 14 : Sail back from Antwerp to Zeebrugge
HOW TO JOIN : we will have only one boat, limited capacity. Book your seat by sending an email to info@tise-sailing.club and pay your participation fee (EUR 260) at TISE bank account: BE66 3631 4588 8343.
LUNCHES, DINNER,VICTUALS: Bring your own food,drink&fruits enough for your consumption. There are plates, cutlery, cooker and owen in the boat. Breakfasts and Lunches will be on board. Dinner could be cooked on board, but the restaurant in the marina is also a good alternative for the group.
CLOTHES, SHOES, GLOVES, HATS & SLEEPING BAGS: Waterproof jacket, warm clothes, gloves, sailing boots. Rubber boots/or shoes with non-marking soles. We will sleep in the boat, bring your own bedding/sleeping bag. Remember to keep your luggage minimum as possible.
