As summer draws to a close and autumn approaches, you’re probably all pondering what to do during the weekend of the autumn equinox! Well, ponder no more. While the sun is heading south across the celestial equator on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of September, you could be sailing in Zeeland with TISE! Here are the details:
WHAT: A weekend sailing cruise in Zeeland in a fun, safe and friendly environment. Top-up your mileage while practicing your sailing skills. The event is open to all, from beginners through to experienced skippers.
WHERE: Zeeland / The Netherlands, only 120km from Brussels. We will be sailing between boutique marinas with good quality facilities, including clubhouses, good restaurants, and showers. We will depart from Jachthaven Bruinisse (https://www.jachthavenbruinisse.nl).
DURATION: You can join the cruise for both days (sleeping on-board) or participate on only 1 day. We highly recommend the 2-day package!
LUNCHES, DINNER, PROVISIONS: Bring enough food and drink for your stay. There are plates, cutlery, a cooking hob and an oven on the boat. Breakfasts and lunches will be on-board, and you can choose to either cook dinner in the galley, or make use of the restaurant in the marina.
CLOTHES, SHOES, GLOVES, HATS & SLEEPING BAGS: To be prepared for a variety of possible weather conditions, a waterproof jacket and warm clothes are recommended, as are rubber boots or shoes with non-marking soles. Sun-glasses and sun-block are also recommended. There is no need to buy special clothing, but sailing gloves are a must. Remember to bring a sleeping bag if you intend to stay on the boat overnight.
